Nial (Nested Interactive Array Language) is a high-level programming language designed for array processing and symbolic computation. It was created by Michael Jenkins and implemented in the mid-1980s. Nial is unique in its use of a nested array paradigm, which allows for the manipulation of arrays of arbitrary dimensions and structures. This paradigm is particularly powerful in fields such as data analysis, symbolic mathematics, and scientific computing, where complex data structures are common.
