Pure Data (Pd) is an open-source visual programming language designed for interactive audio and multimedia creation. It features a graphical interface for building complex systems through object manipulation, supports real-time audio and video processing for live performances, and is highly modular, allowing for custom object creation. Pd includes extensive libraries for audio synthesis, analysis, and MIDI control, and operates across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
