The Cairo Graphics SDK is a robust 2D graphics library that supports multiple output devices, including the X Window System, Quartz, Win32, image buffers, PostScript, PDF, and SVG file outputs. Designed for consistent output across all media, it leverages hardware acceleration when available. The API offers operations akin to PostScript and PDF, such as stroking and filling Bézier splines, image transformations, and antialiased text rendering. All drawing operations can be transformed by any affine transformation, including scaling, rotation, and shearing. Implemented in C, Cairo also provides bindings for various programming languages. It is open-source, available under the GNU LGPL version 2.1 or the Mozilla Public License version 1.1.
Software Requirements:- Cairo Graphics Library version 1.4 or higher. PHP 5.2+ or PHP 5.3+ for PHP bindings. GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 2.1 or Mozilla Public License (MPL) version 1.1. Hardware Requirements:- 2+ GHz CPU speed. 3+ GB RAM. 3+ GB disk space.
