Natural Programming Basic is a self-paced course offered by Software AG, designed to introduce users to the fundamentals of Natural, a programming language primarily used for developing applications that interact with Adabas databases. The course guides learners through writing simple Natural programs, accessing data stored in Adabas files, and modularizing applications using programs and subprograms. Upon completion, participants can earn a badge as a Software AG Certified Natural Associate. This course is tailored for all Adabas & Natural users and requires only basic computer skills.
Software Requirements:- Natural for UNIX Version 8.4 or above. Adabas for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Version 6.5 or above. Optional: Entire Access for SQL databases, EntireX for Natural RPC, Entire Net-Work for remote Adabas systems, Tamino for Natural for Tamino, and an HTTP server like Apache or IIS for the Natural Web Interface. Hardware Requirements:- Approximately 2 GB of hard-disk space for Natural installation; an additional 250 MB if installing Natural Security. Ensure sufficient system resources to support the software requirements and any additional related products. Specific hardware requirements may vary based on the platform and usage scenarios.
