Quasar is a cross-platform desktop application that displays web-based widgets directly on your desktop, utilizing the Chromium engine for seamless integration. It features an extensible WebSocket-based Data Server, enabling widgets to access data beyond typical web capabilities, such as system resource metrics or media playback information. Developers can create custom extensions and widgets, ranging from simple HTML pages to complex WebGL applications. Licensed under GPL-3.0, Quasar encourages open-source development and collaboration. Software Requirements:- CMake 3.23+, Qt 6.4+ with WebEngine, Positioning, WebChannel, Network Authorization, Serial Port modules. Python 3.6+ with Jinja2, colorama, lxml, pygit2 libraries. On Linux: gcc/g++ 11+ or Clang 16+; on Windows: Visual Studio 2022+.
