X10 is a programming language developed for high-performance parallel computing. It was initially developed by IBM as part of the project to provide a programming model for their Blue Gene supercomputers and is now maintained as an open-source project. X10 is designed for high-performance parallel computing, and the latest version (2.8.0) continues to improve on performance, language features, and stability. It requires a Java runtime environment and supports various IDEs for development. The hardware requirements are modest, making it accessible for most modern systems.
